In a bid to modernise its general information management and data security, the National Bank of Rwanda (BNR) has unveiled its new data centre that centralises key systems, easing access and interconnectivity.
Banks told to hand over account data to customers
The UK government has warned banks that it is prepared to legislate to force them to hand over current account and credit card data to customers who request it. The threat relates to the government’s Midata project, designed to give the public more access to, and control over, financial data to gain better insight into their spending habits and improve buying decisions.
BEA China automates data centre with BMC Software
Bank of East China (BEA) China has implemented BMC Software’s BSM solution to streamline IT services and automate its data centre, allowing the bank to provide services to its growing network of operations in China.
